Ragging Free Campus

Ours is a ragging free campus. Efforts have been made to ensure free and fair environment for all students. Teaching, non-teaching faculty guards the students against the word ragging-tearing, playing a practical joke upon someone or holding comic parades, rough and rude treatment or land live, any physical or psychological harm or raise apprehensive or fear in the fresher’s and do any act or perform something that causes him/her shame or embarrassment or danger to his/her life.

Forms of ragging that are strictly prohibited includes to address seniors as ‘Sir’ performers drills, copy class note for the seniors; severe various errands; do menial jobs for the seniors, ask/answer vulgar questions; force to look at pornographic picture to fresher out of their innocence; force to drink alcohol, scalding tea, intoxicated substance etc.

To do acts which can lead to physical injury, mental torture or death; strip, kiss or do other obscenities are also considered as ragging.
