Jayapada Charitable Trust

The foundation of Jayaprada Charitable Trust was laid way back in the year 1999. Ever since, this has been working relentlessly in offering helping hands to the poor and people in need. When colossal cyclone in Andhra Pradesh took its toll and thousands of people lost their shelter and livelihood, then this trust, apart from other non-profit organizations, was present there to help the cyclone victims by providing them food and shelter.

The Trust is actively involved in taking care of the deprived section of the society in several areas of healthcare, women and child development and general ‘day-to-day’ needs. In Andhra Pradesh, the trust organized a vaccination camp where Hepatitis-B Vaccine was administered to children. It helped the girl child of the state in getting computer education. It also helped the poor women by giving them sewing machines to earn their livelihood.

In Rampur also the trust is helping the poor and needy people by distributing blankets to the poor to keep them warm during the chilly winter season. It tied up with the Government and distributed Rajiv Gandhi Health Insurance Card and also distributed Wedding Sets (including clothes and basic material) to lead their family life to the underprivileged couples during their marriage ceremony.

Healthcare being the primary concern of the Trust, Neelaveni Krishna School of Nursing is an effort in setting up institution which could take care of education of the people and providing them an opportunity to adopt this noble profession to serve the society.
